IG HERITAGE - Cross-border brand building

In line with the general objectives of the IG Heritage Territorial Action Plan (TAPE), the economic development and integration of the Ister Granum cross-border micro-region with the aim to reduce unemployment of the local people and increase living standards by supporting and promoting producers and products, the CB Brand project is finalising the TAPE.
The main goal of the project is to promote the regional Ister Granum trademark within the whole cross-border micro-region and to rise awareness of the Ister Granum region among local residents, local producers and also visitors from other regions. 
The regional Ister Granum trademark, which is already registered in Hungary, will also be registered in Slovakia in order to ensure high quality local products, as well as to promote products among consumers, thus strengthening the market position of local producers. As part of the project, an expert commission will be created, which will grant the trademark status to tho local products, which meet predetermined conditions.
The project will also creates a shopping community in Štúrovo, which will work closely with the existing shopping community in Esztergom - Kiskosár. Both communities will be interconnected through a newly established platform (as part of the project) Ister Granum Regional Portal.
Throughout the project, workshops for local producers will be organized. This will inform them about the benefits of participating in the evaluation of the quality of their products and obtaining the Ister Granum regional trademark.
The project should result in the expansion of the Ister Granum trademark as a label of quality within the micro-region, and increase awareness of the Ister Granum region itself.
