The aim of the project is to improve and develop the quality and conditions of public transport system between the cities of Komárno-Komárom; purchase of e-bus commuting on daily basis between Komárno (SK) and Komárom (HU). 

Kn-Kn Impro Trans – as a part of the project aimed at improving the quality of cross-border public transport between Komárno (SK) and Komárom (HU), bus stations and bus stops were renovated and redesigned in both towns. Smart panels offering up-to-date information to passengers were placed. As a part of the project activity, an e-bus was purchased, commuting on daily basis between the towns of Komárno (SK) and Komárom (HU). A website presenting the project and a mobile application was developed to keep the passengers informed about the timetable of the e-bus. The aim of the cooperation is to improve the quality and conditions of the public transport system between the border towns. 

The digital background and the related services of the implemented project are further step for Komárom-Komárno to become a smart city of the 21st century. Not only an e-bus is commuting between the border towns was purchased, but the surrounding of bus stations, roads, sidewalks and service facilities have also been renewed. Smart bus stops were installed and approximately 20 smart panels display the timetable of buses. This project is a symbol of cooperation and green transport solutions, as well as it improves the local public transport.
