Promoting entrepreneurship using interactive and innovative methods.

During the implementation of the project Provocent we created an e-learning curriculum for the involved students, based on an innovative blended learning methodology, which was suitable not only to provide the basic knowledge needed for entrepreneurs, but also to promote entrepreneurial skills. In this way, the students got to know what it is like to work as an entrepreneur and how to think as a successful entrepreneur. During working on the project documentation and creating the curriculum and methodology, the experts and institutions always worked jointly and together, creating a curriculum and methodology that combines best practices from Slovakia and Hungary. The Provocent application is completely different from the others. It’s not just an app that displays contents, but by using the market place, students were allowed to interact with each other by investing the project money (Pcoin), in each other’s businesses. This opportunity has made the learning process much more human and lifelike. Another positive benefit of the project was that participants were able to get to know each other, learn about each other’s schools, build relationships and gain experience. The project pointed out that the two countries can learn a lot from each other because, although the problems are similar in both countries, the solutions tailored to each situation are in many cases different. The adoption of good practices will certainly have a positive effect on the educational processes in the institutions and on the situation of vocational training in a broader sense in both Slovakia and Hungary.
