Opening conference of the SKHU Go&Szi project - 2021/06/03 11:00

The opening conference of the Cross-border cooperation to revive forgotten partnership in Gombasek and Szilvásvárad project will take a place in Szilvásvárad on 3th of June at 11:00. The target areas of the project are Gombaszög and Szilvásvárad, which are places with great touristic potential and cultural heritage which are to be exploited. The two main partners of the project are united by common history that, unfortunately, has been forgotten recently. The specific objective of the project is the protection and promotion of cultural heritage in the concerned areas. In the light of these two historic buildings will be renovated, the Andrássy curia in Gombaszög and the Orbán house in Szilvásvárad. After the reconstruction the buildings will serve as museums, which present the common history of the two places by the Bükk culture and the culture of iron-forging. In order to increase the number of visitors, it is unavoidable to satisfy the tourists´ requirement and establish services that make the location more attractive. For this reason, accommodation and restaurant facilities will be created in cooperation with the entrepreneur partners of the project.
