The current labour market situation in the Cserehát micro-region is characterized by a high level of unemployment and a high proportion of disadvantaged job-seekers. The main reason of this phenomenon is the low level of
education, early school-leaving, insufficient basic skills and a bad attitude towards the work. The main objective of the project FYW is to improve the level of education and increase the chances of applying to the labour market for
long-term unemployed citizens through the implementation of joint education and training programmes. The expected change brought by the project implementation is the increasement of the personal competitiveness of
people living in the Cserehát micro-region. The main target groups of the project are the long-term unemployed citizens, low skilled individuals, inhabitants from socially disadvantaged groups, Roma minority, etc.
The main goal of the project will be reached by the implementation if the following activities:
All the training will take place in the Cserehát micro-region, and the majority of them in the newly established St. Stephan´s House in Gagyvendégi.
