The objective of RE-HABILITATION is to support the development of human resources related to the social care of elderly people in the Ipel Valley by launching a social care education program. The program includes both theoretical and practical knowledge, but the emphasis will be on the acquisition of practical knowledge.
With the realization of this education programme, the project aims to foster greater employability,  cross-border mobility as well as human resources for social care institutions. Since main target groups are those adults (either freshly graduated or long-term unemployed), who wish to remain in the region, but do not find jobs according to their qualifications or do not have qualification yet to be employed, the project will effectively contribute to raise employability in the region.
During the project, we will create the conditions for training in terms of both physical and human resources. A jointly developed theoretical and practical training program and curriculum for the Hungarian partner will be developed, which will be tested during pilot courses on both sides of the border. As a result of the project, 120 people will be trained. During the training, the applicants can gain experience in regional social institutions, the graduates receive a certificate, which will help them to find work in the social institutions of the region, thus this project improving the employment data of the region and the lack of capacity of social institutions. After the completion of the project, our goal is to continue and expand the training program.
